Switch on fashion

Off-schedule fashion shows rarely get the exposure they deserve.

Trekking to a vacant warehouse in E18 really isn't an option for industry bigwigs - tents seem to work for other fashion capitals, so what's wrong with London?

Admittedly, obscure locations are partly what make London Fashion Week unique, but the simple fact is, shows are not being seen by those who matter.

On/Off aims to change this. By taking residency in the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts, off-schedule designers will be right in the thick of it. The relationship will be beneficial for both parties involved, as the Royal Academy needs to get Bright Young Things into its new space (6 Burlington Gardens) and designers need a respected central backdrop.

Past designers who have shown with On/Off will be here again, but they are also accepting applications for new blood.
