It is no secret that Kill Bill is basically a stylised homage to the cultish low budget martial arts and grindhouse movies that Tarantino loves so much. Few, however, will be able to name any of the chop-socky sources of inspiration, much less have seen them. If you wonder where Daryl's KB eyepatch came from, don't miss Saturday's En Grym Film (aka They Call Her One-Eye), but first up today is the hard core revenge fable, Lady Snowblood (Shurayukihime) - Blizzard From the Netherworld and The Doll Squad - the gals-with-guns action extravaganza from B-movie maestro Ted V Mikels - follows suit Friday.
