Bistrotheque bears more than just a passing resemblance to Andy Warhol's infamous Factory. A cross between a disco and a bistro, Bistrotheque runs over two floors of an old clothing factory. This huge venue is home to everything the discerning lad or lady could desire in a night out: two dining rooms, a bar and a playroom.

The playroom is the place to hang out, meet, greet and be entertained. Films, live bands, dancing and tranny lip-synching will all be on show. Our advice is to expect the unexpected.

In contrast, the bar and restaurants serve good traditional British food - with a twist. Take your pick from the plump menu which features delights such as scallops, black pudding, mash and chilli jam or try a daily special such as roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Real ales, draught lagers and classic cocktails are at hand to wash it all down.
