Whilst the newsagents' shelves are wallpapered by a confectionary of lad mags, the current crop of apish titles would have you believe that their readers are only a few genes away from pre-historic man. BLINK is designed for those who aspire to more than scratching their NUTS in the ZOO.

Launched nationally today by independent publishers Parallel Sky, BLINK will feature the usual testosterone heavy elements - gadgets, cars, travel and women - but with an emphasis on film, music and style.

Produced in a unique glossy coffee-table book format, it is aimed at a more discerning reader with contributions from the very best photographers, designers and writers. Like the ladies it will feature, the sumptuous photography and cutting edge design require a lingering gaze rather than a quick flick.

Publisher & Editorial director, Adrian Grant has signed up travel connoisseur Nick Haslam, Mobo award winning DJ Shortee Blitz, film critic Ali Catterall, sexpert Emily Dubberley and spoon-bending psychic Uri Geller to pen columns for the 100-page mag, so it should prove to be more than just eye candy!

But are you guys ready for it?
