Although not connected, the Clerkenwell gastro bar is a potentially dangerous place for past guests at the other establishment, as its medley of homebrewed ales, international bottled beers and potent cocktails could prove to be a temptation of wagon falling-off proportions.

However, if you do overindulge on the sauce at least you can soak it all up with a hearty meal of traditional British fayre. And speaking of which, to celebrate the launch, Urban Junkies subscribers are invited to enjoy either a complimentary two-course lunch or dinner (pay for drinks only), or a complimentary first drinks round and then 50% off the rest of your bar bill.

On offer are starters like seared scallops and asparagus with blood orange hollandaise, mains like smoked chicken and shitake salad and puddings like upside-down banana tarts.
