The words 'band' and 'wagon' jump to mind when we hear about yet another St Martins wonderkid. Giles Deacon, Bora Aksu and Jonathan Saunders are just three designers to spring from its doors to recent acclaim. They may be wonderfully talented - and they are - but what about all the unknows who don't have the St Martins tag to kick them up the ladder? |
