Well think again, because Contact Europe, the Continent's premier visual arts festival, is on its way to Berlin with a box of tricks the size of which hasn't been experienced since the last Jean Michelle Jarre concert.

Organisers Projekktor have lined up 180 artists who will perform over the festival's three days and nights, making Contact Europe the visual arts freak's equivalent of Glastonbury.

There will also be a series of lectures, workshops and presentations, where visitors can learn the tricks of the trade from some of the best visual artists from across the globe.

And, if your retinas can take it, there's also the Motorola VJ-Jam, where first class VJs battle it out to prove themselves in front of the public and their peers.
