I predict that Kabaret's Prophecy will become the most talked about new club of the year. The venue - previously called Kabaret - has been re-imagined as a sumptuous play den by the style crew's favourite architect/ interior designer, David Collins, in his first club commission. |

Fulfilling the mantra of all new guest list/members bars, the 100 capacity venue aims to be intimate and exclusive where less is less and maximalism is key. The interior will feature a vast, sculptured, moving image backdrop - the first of its kind - and a Swarovski crystal covered bar. Cartoonist Jamie Hewlett (Tank Girl, Gorillaz) created a series of cheeky regulars that will live in the bathrooms and there's a Natasha Law illustration at the entrance. A list of luxe cocktails has been concocted by the modestly named 'Gorgeous Group' (of Hakkasan acclaim) and an un-named leading chef will be serving up comfort food. Party beats will be provided by achingly fashionable resident DJs including Nathan Gregory Wilkins (plays at Electric Stew) and Dan Lywood (formerly of Sound Architecture) in addition to guest DJs like Paul Harris (Dirty Vegas) and Dave Durrell (of Pump up the Volume fame). |
