Well, now - Thank God! - arty types really have been consigned to a bloody shop, as Central Saint Martin’s students have taken the novel route of showing their final degree work in a shop, on Earlham Street in Covent Garden to be precise.

The Seven Dials area of Covent Garden is on the up - witness Norman Jay DJing at the opening of the Fred Perry store a couple of weeks ago - and the no-doubt fabulous creations of students at the UK's most famous art college can only add to the hip factor.

The studes will be showing work covering design, illustration, advertising, photography, print, AV, and 3D made throughout their final year, as well items created especially to sell in the shop such as clothing, and fashion accessories.
