It's a dog eat dog world out there, which isn't always for the collective good COMRADES, so respect then, to the guys and gals at www.photodebut.org who have grouped together in order to nurture each other's creativity in practical ways.

Their mission statement sums it up nicely: "The UK has a huge number of talented photographers struggling to establish themselves. Photography can be an isolated and individual pursuit, which generates a sense of competition, where supporting fellow practitioners is extremely rare. This isolation can be overwhelming, which is why we created photodebut."

The collective is organising group shows, regular discussions, publications and will also be working on group commissions. They're a heavy hitting bunch, who've all exhibited globally and had work published in top newspapers and mags. They've already received the thumbs up from key industry players, so it looks like they're definitely onto something.
