As today is the day that Elvis recorded his first single, 'That's All Right', it's being re-released as a fitting tribute (not to mention cynical money-making exercise), along with special edition box sets galore.

And to celebrate, you are all invited to indulge in gloriously ridiculous shenanigans at HMV Bond Street, who is hosting an Elvis look-alike competition.

Whilst glossing over the fact that he became a grotesque tribute act to himself, feel free to enjoy a bit of high camp and you will get the chance to win one of five framed and certificated versions of vinyl for being 'Best Dressed', which if nothing else, could definitely do well on Ebay.

I personally, however, would rather see a gaggle of Priscilla Presley look-alikes (preferably the Dallas years) mincing down Bond Street. And thinking about it, if Rock 'n' Roll is 50, just how old is she then?
