Multi-storey car parks aren't the first place you usually think of going for inspiration, but that's all set to change.

Intersection, the only magazine to fuse cars with fashion in a way that both mechanics and Manolo wearers drool over, is hosting an exhibition over the top floors of a car park just off Oxford Street.

Rising quartet New Rhodes plays at Water Rats. 7:30pm 328 Grays Inn Rd, WC1. £6. 08700 600 100 or online.

Hot band Loose Cannons are live @Champion Sound's 1st b-day at Cargo. 8pm-3am. 83 Rivington St, EC1. £10. 08700 600 100 or online.
A not so naff boattrip: Multi-media project Underkurrent. 6pm (7:30pm). Trinity Buoy Wharf Lighthouse, E14. £15. 08700 600 100 or online.

The exhibition, created in collaboration with BMW, features work specially created by 16 diverse artists who were asked to respond to the new BMW 1 Series and conceptually deconstruct the car.

Contributions include work from product designers Inflate (who have 'blown-up' the old-skool caravan), musician/designer Trevor Jackson (who has transformed the BMW 1 into a multimedia installation) and shoe designer Atalanta Weller (who has constructed a stiletto entirely out of car parts). Hard to visualise, maybe, but their results are nothing short of genuis.
