Hip fashion designer Maria Chen Pascual has teamed up with portrait artist extraordinaire Piers Atkinson - to curate his show of pictures which are so original, they deserve to be checked out.

The portraits on show mix photography and fashion styling with eclectic montage effects. Models pose in mock Victorian ways, as if almost dead, surrounded by props such as china dolls, rose petals, flowers and blackbirds.

The 'models' are artists and musicians - and include fashion designer Zandra Rhodes and Maria Pascual herself - wearing Victorian inspired designs from Maria's own Kingly Court store, Always & Forever.

And while there's something very 'Pharaoh's Tomb' about it, the overall effect is eery, beautiful and weirdly, wonderfully - strangely - captivating.
