Shoreditch alley Kingsland Road is hosting a celebration of all things dark and macabre - in a wholly humorous way. Three of the street's hangouts - Dreambagsjaguarshoes, 17 Space and No.One Store, all owned by Carbon Industries - will be exhibiting artwork by up-and-coming artists who share a common interest: horror.

The wickedly scary works from Call of the Wild, Pure Evil and Bert Industries will be shown alongside scary horror B-movies, graffiti artwork and severed limbs - which will hang 'ghost train' style from window frames.

Visitors can move between each venue and gaze in wonderment, fear and
amusement at activities going on as well as guzzle some beers and nod to the in-house DJs.

And, as the night desends and the full moon glows, an army of zombies will troop up and down the street to scare you witless.

Sounds fun? It will be wicked... and the nail in the coffin is that the event is completely free. The only thing you'll be losing are your wits
