Coming from the team behind the Priory, The Roxy - which officially opened last Thursday - is situated next to the Eagle Bar Diner on Rathbone Place, and aims to strike a blow against the generic chrome heavy bias of chain-bar land. With their specially commissioned artwork by five London based artists (including Annie Morris who illustrated Sophie Dahl's book, 'The Man With The Dancing Eyes'), the environment is reminiscent of vintage Soho, with plush sofas et al. |
