RIP

This week, the venue will open again with an opulent interior and loos that work. And with the re-launch comes a new name: KOKO.

Draw a veil over the last pill-popping decade, and The Palace is one of London's most historic venues. Everyone from Charlie Chaplin to the Sex Pistols have performed here as well as the Clash, the Eurythmics and Madonna - who hosted her first ever UK gig here.

Now the revamped, state-of-the-art venue will host everything from concerts, to cabaret evenings, to club nights to comedy shows.
