Just opened by Kit and Tim Kemp (of the Covent Garden Hotel), the 85 bedroom boutique hotel - that was once a multi storey car park - is however, much more than a handy pied a terre. With its contemporary English décor (every room is different), swanky granite and oak bathrooms and obligatory mod cons, it's definitely a place to impress.

But if you really want to make a statement you could always book one of the four fifth floor penthouses, boasting tree-lined terraces and a powerful vista across London.
