Now, restaurants where you dine in the dark are nothing new (the concept was originally launched in Zurich in '99 and there are similar haunts in a couple of German cities), but now jolie Paris has one to call its own.

The main aim of such restaurants is to focus on the senses of smell and taste and to give the fully sighted a chance to experience what life can be like for partially sighted and blind adults.

Be rest assured though, that although you're completely in the dark, the chefs can see.
