GLENFIDDICH INDEPENDENT MIX presents Jazmine Sullivan and Gilles Peterson tonight at Cargo
Somehow still crawling, walking, talking...

Serious dressing up seems to be reserved for the likes of Ascot and Kashpoint these days.

When was the last time you invested in some fangs and re-enacted the Dawn of the Dead? That's what I thought.

Scoff if you will, but I agree with the organisers of the Zombie soiree, The Crawl of the Dead, that it's high time to put some festive spirit back into All Hallows Eve.

Taking to the streets of London this Saturday, The Crawl of the Dead promises to be an afternoon of "brains, death and rotting flesh".

The concept here is pretty straightforward. Get a ghoulish costume (and not a half hearted one), grab some some extra blood and a quality horror film soundtrack, meet the zombie gang at the agreed upon time and hit the streets and like Zombies would. Sounds a bit like a Thriller themed flash mob.

Does it sound weird? Yes. Scary even? A tad. But worth the risk? Most definitely.

I may even have to zombify my Tanya Harding costume for the occasion - which will be a damn site easier than trying to make her look pretty.
