Whilst the location may have changed, the quality of the food at the new 80-seat venue is set to resume with a modern French menu that will change every couple of months.

The innovative menu includes interesting combinations like Cauliflower soup with truffle butter tortellini, line caught halibut with Parmesan dumplings and crisp frogs' legs and Blackberry gazpacho with muscavado croûtons, ratafia ice cream and pears.

Naturally the new home, means a makeover too, and Claire Nelson of Nelson Design, whose previous restaurant projects have included The Square, La
Trompette and Chez Bruce, has designed a suitably razzy interior involving pony hide, cut leather, silks and marble.

Which should ensure that everybody eating there will have a lovely Thyme (sorry couldn't resist!).
