Before the capital's bar culture reaches saturation point though, new openings must prove themselves through an all-important attention to detail. South London's Mish Mash looks set to avoid the formulaic with an appealing combination of great drinks, terrific food and the welcome addition of the old school classic sporting facility of a pinball machine. Harry's Bar's Andrea Fiorenza has created an impressive drinks list with star cocktails Shamrock Express (espresso coffee, butterscotch schnapps, Absolut vodka, Baileys and gomme) and Applesinth (absinthe, apple schnapps, apple juice, fresh lime juice, passion fruit syrup). It's probably best to avoid using heavy machinery after consumption of these and instead stick to the organic light menu set by Rosie Stephens from Rosie's Deli in Brixton. |

A fly bar indeed. Mishmash
