Amazing as it may seem to some of you out there, the only answer containing even a modicum of truth is (c). And today, not content with running a magazine in six countries (and counting), releasing The Streets' CD to great acclaim in the USA, and running cool clothing stores, the Vice boys have taken over a pub in London's East End. Situated just round the corner from their offices - and therefore ideal for the sort of lunchtime-to-lunchtime benders for which the magazine's staff have become known. The Old Blue Last is a departure from prevailing trends in the on-trade, focusing as it does on drinking NOT sun-dried tomatoes with everything. A spokesman for the pub seemed visibly upset on the mention of solids. |
