Fifty is a veritable house of fun: four floors featuring casinos, restaurants, bars, a members lounge and an underground nightclub - all under one fabulous roof. The site has been a gambling den since the 1800s but has just been refurbished into a multi-million pound enterprise, designed by New York darling Jeffrey Beers. To get the picture, Fifty is the kind of place James Bond would visit should he come to town, to sip martinis, snare villains and seduce foxy ladies - while maxing on blackjack like a pro. Pay a visit and you can trip between chef Jean-George Vongerichten's restaurants - Rama and V (both super tasteful posh-nosh) - and the swish bar Salvatore's on the ground floor and then move onto 50 Below - the discotastic eighties snazz club, with superslick design and Cristal on tap - in the basement. |

Stick or twist, anyone? Fifty,
