If you think so, then you could find yourself being flown to New York, put up in a hotel and invited to schmooze and booze with loads of high-powered media luvvies, all courtesy of the New York Television Festival. The NYTF was established to pioneer the idea of 'independent television', and is currently conducting a grassroots search for writers, producers and directors to submit pilots for inclusion in the Festival this autumn. Both production companies and individuals can submit their work which will then be judged by a panel of TV cognoscenti. Successful applicants will have their pilot showcased in NYC in front of agents, executives and producers from all over the world. |
