So yesterday? Just another day in paradise... Seems that carrying an A-Z and good footwear these days is a must. But amidst all the re-routing and chaos, Londoners acted like Londoners do and just got on with it. |

We may beat to the Show Must Go On tune, but even so, it will be interesting to see how many Londoners will go to the ICA installation this weekend considering its subject matter. The Future of Death: part 2 explores the question, "when does the beginning finally appear?", where performance art is used to tell the story of Anton and Alit's time spent with the terminally ill. I'm depressed already. But death these days is being approached from all angles. Whether it's a think-about-how-your-life-will-be-remembered piece, as with The Obituary Show, currently treading the boards at The Bush Theatre. Or tailor-made funeral services such as firework displays that incorporate cremation ashes - to go out with a real bang - from Heavens Above Fireworks. Choose from a 'Spectacular Goodbye' to 'A Gentle Farewell'. (Family take note, put me in a rocket and I will come back and smack you.) |
