There's a theory knocking about that this world of electronic media and music promos has turned us into a generation of short attention spanners.

While there is little concrete evidence to support such a claim, there's no denying the fact that we have become rather spoilt for choice in the sensory department.

Noting the demand for more of less - Stand Up Drama has come up with 'London Bites', digestible bite-size drama that won't send you into a coma, make your bum go numb or wonder if you've left the TV on. Taking the stand up comedy format, London Bites invites pro actors onto the stage to perform five minutes of whatever they fancy.

It's a route many have already begun - take a butcher's at The Place's production of White Christmas, a simple and to-the-point range of short works performed in a white space. It's a fresh take on dance that offers one-off adaptations for mere 60 minute durations.

In keeping with the quick fix mood is a new exhibition: 'On the 7th Day'. Opening today, P.I.M.P Magazine presents a rotating weekly programme of new artists and designers.
