I'm Big, You're Small |
|
|
Childhood
is full of many key and unavoidable phases: babies
are adorable, if with an unimaginable propensity
for projectile vomit; toddlers are like little
tantrum-throwing nightmares; and teenagers the
embodiment of Satan himself.

Sure
we all wanted to be older when we were younger, but
really, there's a chasmic difference between snagging
a fake I.D. to sneak into a club and leafing through
this month's Tatler at the age of six whilst getting
your regular manicure.
These days the little blighters are edging in on our
territory faster than you can spell 'Mafia Takeover'.
Peaches Geldof stumbling around London utterly hammered
is one thing, perhaps even amusing, but a Stateside
Pint
Size Paparazzi to go with the underage stardom is
pushing it a bit. And now they're even getting their
own ageist sessions at All
Star Lanes.

Which
means it's about time to catch this trend in the
bud and get even. Sandpits at the Hayward, a London
architectural fancy dress, giant board games,
a stag hunt on the South Bank. This is our playground.
Now go get your own.
