Problems? What Problems? Oh, Bougie Problems...

Age is all the rage. Or at least that's what I tell myself, as I lie poolside on the roof of Shoreditch House, sipping a glass of chardonnay, reminiscing about the sweaty raves, impromptu warehouse parties and three-night debauches that I used to revel in.

How did this sudden pseudo-sophistication happen? I used to be known for getting pizzy on free beer backstage at things like Field Day (to which I did not receive my press tickets this year), not fighting back man-tears at the opening night of Piaf (to which, thankfully, I did receive my unjust press desserts). Not that I would have gone to Field Day mind. Nowhere to get a good Old Fashioned.

So instead, post-Piaf, I took up the opportunity to check out the newly opened members' bar at the photo studio palace, Spring.

Flashback

STYLE & DESIGN : All About Me

A boy I dated once admitted he just want to date a girl version of himself. At the time, it sounded, well, a little conceited. And also a little sad - don't settle so low, buddy.

But, to be fair, navel-gazing culture has reached epic levels, with everyone from your lawyer to postman penning a novel (read: autobiography).
