If you're still recovering from LFW almost a full week later, is it a sign that you're getting old, or just that you partied too hard/about hard enough? Either way (though we're clearly leaning towards the latter), it must be fate that there are so many art-related things on this weekend. This way, even if most of them will inevitably end up with some alcohol edge to them, at least we can pretend we had only the best, kidney-conscious intentions.
This weekend's guide is brought to you in association with Fred Perry, home of authentic British street fashion. The label's polo shirts have long been considered a wardrobe staple, whilst the iconic laurel logo has become an industry icon. Cool collaborations have included Raf Simons, Comme Des Garcons, and now, Terry Hall.

Nail the Cross
While Shoreditch Shuffle and Concrete & Glass have been working on the Shoreditch Triangle (like the one in Bermuda, but with skinnier jeans), the even Easterer home of all things young, fresh, and neon-infused, New Cross, is taking its revenge with Scottee and Wowow's Adham Faramawy leading the Art Quest in the daytime, and the evening's entertainment from Micachu (do they ever rest?), Afrikan Boy, Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man, These New Puritans, and a load more.

Turning On London
Usually you'd have to do a fair bit of wooing to get me remotely amorous. You gotta wine me, dine me, and bling me up. However, the promise of a band-tastic night out, or a photography treasure hunt in
Camden could sway me. Lucky then that The Lock Tavern, The Cuban and
Proud Galleries are all showcasing new musical delights, whilst the Roundhouse will play host to 'Capture Camden'. Oh yes. Now I'm turned
on.

Connaught
David Collins, creator of such stunning, ostentatious drinkery interiors as the Artesian, Landau, and Blue Bar, has done it again with the cocktail bar at the £70 million refurbed Connaught. It's been a good few months now since its resurrection, and sure the food is something very special, but we're even more pleased to (re)discover that the bar has settled into its shimmering boots, and cannot recommend it enough.
And should you fancy a real treat, arrange to test out the head bartender's table. A twist on the chef's table concept, it will house half a dozen of you and your friends, as the bar woos your palate with only the finest beverages, the experience topped with a unique cocktail, created to your own taste preferences.
So dress up, fork out, and drink up - with every penny spent absolutely worth it (the average cocktail hits the £12-15 mark). For whilst the clientele are generally as stylish and chic as the décor, the cocktails are even more so.
