Sitting Pretty

If your life's feeling a bit beige, your upholstery screams boring and even your mother's incontinent cat won't go near your sofa, it's time to revamp. UJ's loving these three new kids on the design block.

Eleanor Nadimi
We first discovered Nadimi's flamboyant, Cavalli-esque animal prints whilst wandering through the Royal Academy during On/Off's Fashion Week tenure this September. Taking classic furniture styles and restoration pieces - like 19th century French wing armchairs and ottomans - and covering them in her own fluttering printed fabrics (neon butterflies, pink flamingos) her company is totally bespoke and can work with whatever you bring in.

Le Tramac
Taking antique and vintage items sourced from around Europe, restoring, painting and upholstering them with serious flair are the Lefebvre De Lange sisters. The company started life at a flea market in Normandy but their couture collection is now available online and in their Soho Showroom. UJ especially loves the colourful Lollypop collection and linear, primary-coloured Bauhaus pieces.

Couture Chairs
If you thought runway shows were a load of theatrical nonsense, well, you might be right. But damn if they don't inspire some quality upholstery. Jessica Jones - with past experience at Ralph Lauren under her belt - started Couture Chairs by combining fashion and furniture and imbuing each chair with it's own personality. Bertie, Ruby and Sherbert are the fun and quirkily personal results. Available at mydeco.com's design boutique.

Hello, I'm LiveGuy.
Find me and you could win a shiny new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 with built-in mobile broadband.

Vodafone have sent me on a mission to create a blog in real-time while travelling through 11 cities across the UK. It's to show how strong the Vodafone network is and how portable Dell's new netbook is.

I'll be uploading clues to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Picasa and my blog at FindLiveGuy.com

Follow the trail closely enough and you could win a netbook of your very own. There are 3 chances to win one in person every day. And for those of you who want to play along online, the closest prediction to where I'll be at 6pm each day (when I clock off) will win a netbook too. So what are you waiting for? Get stalking!
