Pop Out to a Pop-Up

Santa has his little helpers, Satan his minions, Britney her team of medication-wielding therapists: we all need a little help sometimes. The merest mention of Christmas shopping is enough to send even old Saint Nick over to Spears' team for a shot of something soothing. So how the Hell are the rest of us supposed to cope?

To start, head to Covent Garden's hidden village, Seven Dials, and grab yourself a shopping angel loaded with advice, tips and tricks. And if your idea of help is a wee caffeine hit, Harrods is installing a Nespresso Bar in the ground floor window serving espressos, cappuccinos and a range of sweet treats to keep you going.

If you're still stuck for ideas, jewellery brand Kabiri is hosting a pop-up space in Selfridges, whilst Moët & Chandon is opening the Atelier Moët, an 'ephemeral boutique' in New Bond Street, where you can have your bubbly of choice customized in Swarovski Elements crystals. Up at George Street, you can find Tyler Brûlé's favourite design products at the new Monocle Shop.

And if all else fails, tomorrow's Carnaby/Grazia shopping event not only promises 20% off purchases, but they've also installed a pop-up bar with free cocktails and a DJ booth featuring New Young Pony Club's TY & Andy inside the Ben Sherman store.

Drink, dance, and despair: it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
