There
you are, essentially a high class ticket tout
(sorry, 'concierge service') sitting on a £14,000
ten-person dinner and event pass for the Baftas
- which really shouldn't be available for retail.
And who do you offer it to? A
columnist at The Observer. Good job keeping
that one quiet.
|
|
But
it got us thinking about where such a mythical
ticket might originate: our guess is that there's
a corporate client somewhere who thought they'd
discretely top up the old lagging events coffer.
£14k, minus commission, for a freebie?
Nice.
And before the high horses come trotting in, where do you think those sexy Jimmy Choos you picked up from Notting Hill's Retro Woman came from? Rumour has it, that place practically runs on 'liberated' freebies from the fashion industry. But if you're not a seasoned stylist-cum-tea-leaf, where's the free love?
