And Breathe |
 |
 |

 |
Politicians
are lying snakes. Banks make money. G&Ts
are for drinking. Oh, how simple the world
used to be! A place for everything and
everything in its place. Now politicians
are inspiring hope; banks are - well you
don't need me to tell you what banks have
been doing lately; and my blessed, most
holy gin and tonic has gone all bloody
transcendental. |
 |
I
blame those gastronomic genii, Bompas
& Parr, who, after confusing our senses
with last Valentine's delightfully bizarre
scratch
'n' sniff cinema, are back in town
with a new transubstantial pop-up.
Setting up in Soho in reference to its historic relationship to alcohol (they mean the preponderance of gin houses during the 18th century, I'm told, rather than the swarms of 21st century underage out-of-towners staggering about at 3am, vomiting everywhere), they've gone and created an enormous walk-in cocktail of breathable booze.
|
 |
Picture an oversized Le
Whif choco-inhaler filled with
booze (or a gas chamber crossed
with a G&T, if you prefer), where
you can nibble on palette-paired
snacks and inhale your way to mixological
euphoria. Well, they do say that
breathing is the easiest thing in
the world... At least that hasn't
changed.
