Designer Pam Hogg Pops Up in Carnaby

We're
not even pretending to be embarrassed
by the current line-up of 80's revivals.
Crop-top? Festival Essential. Acid wash
jacket? Rock on. Tickets for Michael Jackson's
last stand? We're practising the moonwalk
already. Even our ponytails are finding
themselves slightly off-centre. |
|
But
if there's one throwback we just can't
get enough of, it's Pam
Hogg. Since the original Blitz Kid
of '80s clubland stormed back into our
lives at February's Fashion Week, we can't
stop dreaming about acid-bright lycra
catsuits, shiny spandex leggings, and
PVC mini-dresses. We've had our office
chairs waxed down and the air-conditioning
hiked up in preparation.
Because starting tomorrow, Pam's popping
up at her old Newburgh haunt with specially
made Hogg Couture, I-con tshirts, plates,
mugs and signed copies of the Hoggdoll's
latest CD.
If it was acceptable in the '80s…
