The Exhibitionist: The Future is Now
UJ's arts highlights for June, from free ballet to Futurism & a musical meltdown

A shouty PE teacher is taking over London's arts this month. "Just get out there, you 'orrible little Urban Junkies," he bellows, as you grab a cold bottle and a picnic blanket to fuel you through this month's outdoor must-sees. Well, worry not, fellow UJists. There's more than enough to keep you occupied out there in the real world...

Leading the break to the great outdoors, BP are kicking off their big screen free summer programme in Trafalgar Square, while not too far away the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre is rolling out its wonderful, not-a-dry-granny-in-the-house charm offensive.

In the event of hail or snow you will of course be allowed to duck back indoors for Tate Modern's Futurism exhibition, where speed is suggested rather than imbibed (or imbibed rather than suggested, at this month's White Blackbird Futurist Aerobanquet event). Alternatively, make a dash to Sadler's Wells to hear pop-upstart Mika start his acoustic tour.

And no, a scribbled excuse from mum really wont do. This stuff is good for you - you 'orrible little people!
