Brrr – there’s a chill in the air (or someone’s walking over UJ’s grave). So we’re all about warming ourselves up this weekend. Buy into Peter Jensen’s furry leggings, fake it in New York, take a walk on the horticultural side, and of course, imbibe some heat courtesy of Hendrick’s.

Peter Jensen &Tim Walker at DSM

UJ fave Peter Jensen (how much are we loving his folksy knee high boots and bunny ear motif? A lot.) has teamed up with dreamy fashion photographer Tim Walker to create a special Greenland inspired installation at Dover Street Market, with a capsule collection of prints and clothes – think beaded knitwear, faux-fur leggings and ladybird prints.

What do they say: "eat, drink and be merry?" Well, this ticks the first two in one fell swoop. Not only do you get to make a wasabi and lime mascarpone mousse with kiwi and vanilla shortbread with a pave of beef with citrus and ginger as entrée. Not only do you get to learn all about Ketel One vodka and how to make some top notch cocktails with it. No. You also get to consume all of the above. At the same time. Bring on the merriment. (Note: not many tickets left, so be quick!)

icon Hendrick’s Horseless Carriage of Curiosities
Finally. When we got a little teaser of this vintage train carriage of bizarre wonders and out–of–wordly oddities back in the summer, we were aptly bowled over. Then they decided to start her nationwide tour in Scotland first, gradually bringing her back home (Boo!). But now she’s back and for one weekend only (Hurrah!). So bring along your own curiosities and prepare for a spot of croquet, the fabled warrior butterflies of Shetland, keys to a thousand secret doors. Oh and some gin and tonic, of course.

1st – 4th October

Manchester Square, W1U

Party with Sting and his mates for charity

You think Sting, your mind goes to The Police and tantric sex. You think Johnny Depp, you lean towards pirates, chocolate and sex. You think George Clooney, you’re just thinking sex. So put all that filth to a good cause and join these Hollywood luminaries (and Sting) to help save the rainforest. Ms Dynamite, New Young Pony Club and Dirty Pretty Things are also set to perform, so you can make bedroom eyes across the VIP area and try and concentrate on the matter at hand. Sex. No – rainforest – argh.

UJThe Pop Life
Andy Warhol said "good business is the best art" and to that end, this new exhibition looks at ways in which art has engaged with mass media and created ‘brands’ since the 1980s. Expect work from Tracey Emin, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Martin Kippenberger, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince, including reconstructions of both Keith Haring’s Pop Shop and Jeff Koons’s seldom reunited Made in Heaven. And to prove the theory right, go and check out the awesome merchandise – we’re lusting after Murakami flowers and Koons beach towels, personally.

Time:
10am – 6pm
Place:
Tate Modern, Bankside, SE1 9TG
Cost:
£12.50
