Ah the month of the Mad March Hare – coincidentally a character in this weekend’s big release which we have neatly sidestepped in our listings to give you an unadulterated Alice–free weekend (though if you’re in the mood we’d recommend BBB’s Mad Hatter Party!) Instead, and no less wondrous nor curious, we’ve lined up a Tarantino–themed bowling night, Japanese erotica with rooms for rent, some exercise for your credit card and a glimpse into the future, so you’ll know exactly what we’ll be saying next week. See, told you it was magical.

TODAY
Temperley Sample Sale
With summer (allegedly) just around the corner, now’s your chance to stock up on some sunshine–worthy dresses from the Queen of Boho chic, all at up to 70% off their usual retail prices. Now, if only we had a manor in the Cotswolds to roll around in, a haystack to tumble onto and a Vogue photographer to capture it all...

TONIGHT
Gabby Young and Other Animals
Launching her new single ‘Ones That Got Away’ comes Gabby Young with 8–piece band Other Animals after the debut release of her first album, ' We’re All In This Together.' Expect jazz, gypsy folk and lots of soul from the red–head who is making waves in the music world. Young has just come back from Paris Fashion Week, and judging from her performances, is not afraid of a bit of Gaga-esque showmanship with outfits to match.

37–63 Bloomsbury Square, WC1 B 4DA, 7:30pm, £11. |

Aphrodisiacs
Got some unfulfilled geisha fantasies up in that dirty old head of yours, or perhaps you’re partial to a little Japanese rope bondage? Tonight’s ‘Hot Sake’ event promises to be packed with erotic treats, from live pole dancing shows and Strip Karaoke games, to a ‘Love Hotel’ where you can rent a bed to the sounds of DJ Tomoki Tamura’s sexy house and nu disco beats. Dress code is of course, non–negotiable. Harajuku girls, samurais, kung fu fighters and manga cartoon girls all encouraged. Make sure you get your free online membership sorted – and boys, you’ll need some female accompaniment to gain entry. And that’s not a euphemism. |

BAPE Leopard Camo Second Release
They’re back for Spring, and all ready to get you geared up for your travels. If you’re as tired of frou frou flowery toiletry bags and cases as we are, this may be the answer. Incorporating the ‘Ape Head’ logo with traditional leopard print camouflage, there’s no tougher way to say ‘Darling, I’m just popping to the bathroom to freshen up after the flight.’ Grrr.

PLAYLIST
Playlist 5th March
Take it down a notch with this week’s playlist which features just about the most dreamy version of Britney’s Toxic we’ve ever heard, as well as old school favourite Dire Straits and The Beach Boys (remixed of course) and that back–in–the–day party track Around the World. Memories – David Guetta's got that right anyway.
