As kids getting into the cool clique always seemed impossibly hard, even after struggling to find the right clothes and rucksack–de–jour. So as adults it’s nice to be able to choose what clubs we belong to.
Which is why here at UJ we’re all joining the Patrón Social Club – because we like being invited to one–off events, we like timely features, and we like that it’s free – and coming from the ultra premium spirit that’s a State–side favourite for both sipping and mixing, you know you’re in good company – whether you choose to surround yourself with the Silver, Añejo, Reposado, or the XO Café (a UJ fave) variety.
The UK Social Club launch promises some tip–top content from the likes of yours truly – so read up on our photographic ferret around Harvey Nichols Fourth Floor, where to take a train journey this Summer, and our best punts for a night on the town, dinner included. Plus, check out those gorgeously artisanal, individually numbered bee–stamped bottles, and of course, sign up for your exclusive event invites (this lot were behind Bistrotheque’s awesome Christmas restaurant ‘The Patrón Silver Reindeer’ – so you’ll want to get on the list for the forthcoming attractions!)
To get you started, the Patrón Social Club has tix up for UJ grabs to Whiteleys’ shiny new POP STORES launch party, with the Voguettes and The Queens of Noize on the decks, and a live performance by Thrush Metal, Alice Dellal’s band, as well as some delicious Patrón Tequila cocktails, of course. Fancy being there? All you need to do is sign up for the Patrón Social Club online and register your interest, for your chance to win a place.
Because really, what’s a little membership form compared to the Gladiators–style gauntlet of the adolescent rite of passage anyway?
