Now this is what we call a weekend. Not only is Kevin Spacey’s sell-out Richard III kicking off (and you just might be able to get a ticket by queuing for returns). Not only are the sales on for everything from Harvey Nics and Selfridges to Liberty, Stella McCartney and Mulberry – but we have a load of fresh events for you, from Ibizan parties, to gastro distractions and a dash of art for kicks. So whatever you do: have a great one!

Time: June 16-19, 12-4pm & 5:30-9pm
Place: Outer Circle, Regent’s Park, NW1 4NR
Cost: £22-£125

NIGHTLIFE: Kitsuné Club Night
We love the simple, chic clothes Parisian designers Kitsuné make almost as much as we love the electro output on their record label, so you can expect to see us partying hard at their club night tomorrow, where Is Tropical are launching their new album The Greeks. Expect lots of forward-thinking synth sounds from them and YukSek, Age of Consent and Jupiter, who will also be playing live, while Off Modern host DJs in Room 2.

Time: 9pm-3am
Place: XOYO, 32-37 Cowper Street, EC2A 4AP
Cost: £12 (£10 adv.)
Info: Kitsuné Club Night

SHOP
Colette Sale

If you feel like escaping the Big Smoke, why not hop on a Eurostar and check out French label Colette’s in-store sale: we’ve been coveting everything they stock for a while now, from Alexander McQueen heels to the limited edition “super scooter“ in glossy blue and white. Don’t worry if you don’t have the time: you can stock up on half-price goodies online too, from Haribo-inspired sneakers to headphones made of giant shells. We’re sure you can find some sort of excuse to treat yourself.

EAT: Red Dog Saloon
The USA-style barbecue craze continues with this place opening bang in the middle of Hoxton, complete with a hickory and mesquite burner imported from the States. With ribs, luscious burgers, Pulled Pork and Mac ‘n’ Cheese, we’re putting it at the top of our weekend comfort food hit-list. There are lighter options, like Clam Chowder and Cobb Salad – but, to be honest, we’ve got our eye on the decadent dessert menu, which includes brownies and what we hope to be a killer sundae.

Time: Daily 12pm-12am
Place: Red Dog Saloon, 37 Hoxton Square, N1 6NN
Cost: Free
Info: Red Dog Saloon

MUSIC: London Feis
Haven’t sorted tickets to any festivals yet? No problem – there are still day tickets and cheaper ’Bob Dylan only’ ones available for this huge two-day party happening in the middle of London. There are lots of big names drawn from the realms of rock: Van Morrison, Shane MacGowan, The Waterboys, and Bob, of course, but also some reggae from the legendary Jimmy Cliff, and show tunes from cabaret superstar Camille O’Sullivan.

Time: Sat 11am-11pm, Sun 11am-10.30pm
Place: Finsbury Park, N4
Cost: £70 Sat, £60 Sun, £40 Bob Dylan only
Info: London Feis

INTERNATIONAL
Ibiza Rocks: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs

Book a flight to Ibiza pronto to see TEED (aka Orlando Higginbottom) play his super-fun brand of post-iPod era electro at Ibiza Rocks, alongside Fatboy Slim and resident DJs. See the young producer shake his Indian headdress to retro-futuristic sounds, and then sleep it off at the Ibiza Rocks hotel. We recommend VIP tickets, so you can jump the queues, and save yourself a table. Book a room at Pikes and pick up a ticket here.

Ibiza Rocks, Wed June 22, Tickets start at £37.50.

SHOP
YSL Sunglasses

You can never have too much love; you can never have too much money; you can never have too many sunglasses. These are the facts of life. Now the first two of those, sadly, are a little harder to pin down. But the sunnies, now that’s something we can act on – and we are all over this season’s YSL shades: great lines, great prints, and a perfect replacement for our ubiquitous Wayfarers… Plus, the films by fashion photographer, Karim Sadli, have certainly brightened up our office this week.

BOOK AHEAD
The Ladykillers

Peter Capaldi was brilliant as Malcolm Tucker in The Thick of It, so we can’t wait to see how he fares filling Alec Guinness’s shoes in this highly anticipated stage version of the classic Ealing comedy. It’s adapted by Graham Lineham – the guy behind Father Ted and The IT Crowd – so we can expect his own inimitable take on the already brilliantly amusing script. Book sharpish, though: everyone’s already talking about it.

Gielgud Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, W1D 6AR, Nov 26-Feb 18, £12.50-85.

DRINK: The Mayor Scaredy Cat Town
Slip through the Smeg fridge in the new Spitalfields Breakfast Club (obviously), looking as nonchalant as possible, and you’ll find yourself spontaneously in East London’s latest subterranean drinking secret: Welcome to The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town! After your big Saturday night (probably stopping here anyway) settle into avocadoes, chillies and poached eggs on multigrain, washed down with a house Bloody Mary, with more herbs and bits than we’ve ever seen (pickled asparagus anyone?) and a homemade roasted cherry tomato juice. But remember: it’s a secret…

Time: Brunch: 12-4pm
Place: 12-16 Artillery Lane, E1 7LS
Cost: Free, but best to reserve
Info: The Mayor Scaredy Cat Town

ART: Vauxhall Car Boot
Always a “unique” experience, this fun arty boot sale once again sees cut-price art by big-hitters like Damien Hirst, the Chapmans and Tracey Emin flogged from the back of cars while all manner of arty weirdness abounds. This year’s set to be a cracker: St John’s are hawking their fabled ox-heart buns, you can renew your annual Pretty Taxing tax holder (personally we’re torn between an original Pam Hogg or Gavin Turk), plus everything from pun-tastic crockery smashing at “Boules in a China Shop” to a “Big Fat Gypsy Fortune Teller,’ complete with lit-up wedding dress.

Time: Sun 12-6pm
Place: Corner of Brick Lane and Buxton Street, E1 5EG
Cost: £3
Info: Vauxhall Car Boot
