For the third and most fabulous year yet: it’s Dia de Los Muertos season!
In collaboration with Cazadores Tequila, loved by the people that know tequila best, we’re bringing this vibrant month-long celebration of the dearly departed to life with the most vibrant of fiestas. We’re talking Cazadores cocktails, glittering skulls, altars, botanas and glamorous fancy dress. And yes, we’ll be expecting you in all your finery.
Our previous DDLM parties (2009 at The Bathhouse; followed by an unforgettable 2010 at Bungalow 8) achieved a heady mix of authentic Mexican eeriness, all-night fun, plenty of dancing, a glamorous crowd and a stunning venue.
This year’s candlelit home will be the stunning Circus in the heart of Covent Garden, featuring an intoxicating line-up of performers curated by burlesque princess Kitty Bang Bang and fully decked-out in our Aztec art, floral gothic, and skulls and souls’ theme.
So don’t be shy: we want to see some amazing DDLM looks – think modern Mexican glam with glitter and gold, slick blacks, vibrant purples, feathers, traditional marigold flowers, skull faces with tuxedos and veils. And as always, our make-up artists will be on hand to give you that extra magic touch.
So sip and savour complimentary Cazadores cocktails – from the Paloma (Cazadores Blanco with fresh lime juice & grapefruit soda), Cazadores Margarita (signature serve with agave nectar) and Lolita (with fresh pomegranate juice) – until 11pm (the bar is open til much later, of course!), nibble on authentic Mexican snacks and let the Circus DJs get you in the mood to party the night away. At midnight we’ll be celebrating in style with Cazadores Añejo Sangrita Shots and toasting Dia De Los Muertos.
