Weekend Guide

---

The boys are back in town this week for the first ever London Collections shows (womenswear is next week). If you're not tied up at the shows, partying it up at Lovebox or jetting off to Sónar, then have yourself some NY-style pizza, go summer sale shopping, and hit a Lovebox after party. All with a little bling.

NY's No. 8

NY regulars will be glad to hear that Bungalow 8 has been reincarnated as the elusive No. 8. Similar to Amy Sacco's original baby in only door policy and clientele, No. 8 is strictly a "gastropub" (that serves Cuban sandwiches and champagne by the table…). We wonder if the potted palm trees made it through the relocation…

FRIDAY

THEATRE:
Theatre in the Square
  EAT:
Brooklyn Bite

For a little culture in your lunch break, nip down to the Lyric Square for live performances. This week it's the turn of Les Enfants Terribles with a piece entitled Anyone for Tea?. Expect Mad Hatters, narcoleptic dormice and a tea party with a twist. Just remember to bring an umbrella!   A slice of NY nice comes to London. Bringing their NY-style pizzas over the pond, expect true-to-form enormous 18 inchers such as The Hawaii Five-O, the fahgettaboudit and the Benny Blanco from the Bronx. Afterwards, head down to their subterranean speakeasy for some post-pizza cocktails.

Sideshow

LN-CC's gone into summer sale! One of UJ's fashion faves Late Night Chameleon Cafe will be offering up to 50% off most SS12 lines. So, Commes de Garçons, J.W. Anderson and Sunspel for him, and Jil Sander, Maison Martin Margiela and Haider Ackermann for her. Before you ask, the Givenchy hat has already sold out.   Shut down in 1855 for debauchery and disorder, The Bartholomew Fair saw sideshows, prize fighters, freak shows and the like. It seems fitting, then, that Floating Points and Four Tet will be holding a one off party here (in what's now Smithfield Market). Expect electronic beats from the boys, and ice cream from Gelupo.

IBIZA PICK

Ibiza 123 Festival

From the teams behind Live Nation and IMS comes this year's new 123 Festival. Rocktronic – a fusion between live rock and electronica – will see old school rock legends and electro artists play alongside each other (think Elton John vs PNAU, Lenny Kravitz vs Luciano, as well as UJ fave TEED). This is one musical mash up that we'll go to San Antonio for.
