A highlight of the UJ annual calendar, IMS (May 22—24) is when the Ibiza season really kicks off, with three days of industry talks and club openings, Dalt Vila fiestas and networking with friends. If you love music and Ibiza, and are interested in new ideas, IMS is a must.
W Hotels agree with us too, as this will be their fourth year partnering with IMS Ibiza (they also recently supported the first IMS conference in LA). Building on their credible music programs — including the W Hotels & Burn Studios DJ Lab and the exclusive Do Not Disturb series with Boiler Room — their annual IMS Ibiza involvement always comes with the launch of a new initiative. A standout to date includes the 2011 launch of their carefully curated music app, which still continues to be a UJ office staple.
This year, W and IMS will launch the Who’s In Town series, which will see renowned ‘DJs in residence’ play pre-club sets for guests at W Hotels across Europe, bringing W’s credible music relationships directly into their hotels. 10 DJs — 10 properties.
