Covent Garden is busy at the moment. It's always been busy, but this year especially, it's all happening in WC2. We've borrowed two burger joints, NY's hottest restaurant and a concept store from the States, and the openings just keep coming. That's why we're always up for a detour down the cobbled pavements of Floral Street, Covent Garden's original fashion hub.
Floral Street's latest resident is Y-3, Yohji Yamamoto's game-changing line in collaboration with adidas. For 10 years, Yohji has been redefining sports gear by combining functional materials with avant-garde design, ultimately pioneering the sports-luxe aesthetic which has been a recurring theme at fashion week for seasons (we're looking at you Wang and Marant).
The store design channels the haute-sport look, too. Like the clothes, the lines are ultra-clean; with steel pillars and a special, Erco-designed lighting system contrasting the period arches of the Grade II-listed building.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, Y-3 is giving you the chance to win a whole look, which includes two apparel pieces and a pair of shoes. The winner will also get the chance to go to the store to choose the pieces. To enter, click
