EAT:
Berber & Q
  Drink:
Naughty Piglets

The highly anticipated Middle Eastern and North African grill house from Josh Katz (formerly at Galvin Bistrot de Luxe and Ottolenghi) opens this weekend. Expect dishes such as fennel seed and paprika pork belly, lamb méchoui (spit roast) and maple-glazed merguez (sausage) cooked from the charcoal grill and smoker and served on communal mess trays.   After last night's Rebel Rave, take it easy this evening at bistro and wine bar, Naughty Piglets, the new venture from husband and wife Joe Sharratt (ex-head chef at Trinity) and Margaux Aubry (from Terroirs). Here, simplicity is key. Order a bottle of natural wine from the extensive list before making your way through the menu. Our pick is the chargrilled monkfish paired with an orange vino.

BRUNCH:
Chick ‘n’ Sours
  EAT:
Sydney Harbour Bridge Inflatable Assault Course

Fried chicken is back! And signifying its return is Carl Clarke’s Chick ‘n’ Sours. Order from the brunch menu, which has two options: Son In Law Eggs (fried eggs with crispy chicken skin and chilli fish roti canai) or the Brunch Bunch (fried thigh with avocado, bacon and fried egg) – before making your way through their sour cocktail menu. We'll be starting with a negroni sour followed by a rum and coke sour. Don’t leave without trying the Weetabix soft serve.   Tunnels, punch bags, and a crocodile-infested ball pit: just a few of the hurdles at the giant (free) inflatable Sydney Harbour Bridge obstacle course on the South Bank. Sponsored by Aussie breakfast drink Up & Go, prizes are up for grabs if you get the fastest time that day. And it wouldn’t be Sydney Harbour without the Opera House – so they’ve added an inflatable one of them, too.
