Yes, summer may be a washout, but we’re still feeling the spirit. This weekend, we’ve got some jungle fever, a boat party, a floating house, a new rooftop, and even a swimming pond in King’s Cross. Culture wise, we’ve got two art picks: one fair and one, well, wet. And in other news, there’s a new girl in town, her name is Pamela—get to know her. Happy long weekend! |

Diaries out: London party supremo Ultimate Experience is taking over The Paperworks and giving Monday - Thursday a much needed shake up via a few summer parties. This means great music, cocktails, and, of course tons of street food from Asian, Indian and Middle Eastern to a smoke and taco shack, all in the name of summer. And if the weather doesn’t comply ('tis London after all), The Paperworks has it sorted with cosy covered bars, booths and larger outdoor areas. Get in quick this pop-up has to close on the 30th June! |

EAT:
Summer Tales |

DRINK:

Tropical vibes have finally hit London, thanks to Summer Tales. Flit between the Lazy Flamingo and Frozen Punch bar with sustenance in between from a host of street vendors such as Pizza Pilgrims, Morty & Bobs, Burger & Lobster and Bel Air. Play on the jungle swings and dance to the live DJ sets. As with Night Tales, the live performances are hush-hush, but be sure to keep an eye on their twitter feed. |
Now, meet Pamela, the new neighbourhood bar by the guys behind Alibi and Birthdays. Expect biker funk and yacht rock to be blasting and food to be served (the kitchen opens in three weeks). Cocktails are cheap (£7.50) and inventive – we will be starting with a beetroot infusion before moving on to the shot menu - jalapeno vodka shot, anyone / everyone? |

EAT:
Roofnic |
Combine your art and food binge at Art15. Explore the contemporary and modern exhibitions from 150 galleries around the world, and when is all said and done, grab a bite from one of London’s best: Gymkhana, Barrafina, The Clove Club and The Colony Grill Room. Finally, a way to beat those reservation lines. |
A new central London rooftop has opened! Oxford Street, near Marble Arch, is where you will find Roofnic. Decked out in astro turf and retro furniture, order some small plates to ‘create your own picnic’ (geddit?), fruit juices or botanical cocktails, then pray for rays. With room for 100, you should be fine, but if not, there’s always Vintage Salt a few roofs down. |

FLOATING HOUSE |

Sail Away |
For those staying put this bank holiday weekend, apply to set sail on the Floating House. Think Primrose Hill meets Pixar on the Thames. And it comes with some pretty good perks: massage therapists, a Michelin-starred chef (Robert Ortiz of Lima and Lima Floral) and, of course, panoramic river views. |

DRINK:
London Wine Week closing party |
PARTY:
Eton Messy at XOYO |
Wrap up wine week with a barbecue, beats, and, well, more plonk. Hosted by Mission and Noble Rot magazine, expect unique and rare wines, a rotation of DJs including James Righton (of The Klaxons), and a friendly muso battle between Noble Rot and The Clove Club. Still not convinced? All wines will be served exclusively from magnums – “because big bottles taste better”. Fact! |
Keeping our summer spirits alive, Eton Messy are taking to the water for what looks like the party of the bank holiday weekend. Start the two-part extravaganza aboard the H.M.essy with The Golden Boy and Waverley before heading over to XOYO for the full Eton Messy Presents after-dark revelry, which includes Jax Jones, Alex Adair, Klaves and Kayper. |
