| New concepts | | Concept stores may be nothing new, but a crop of newbies have crept up on London’s fashion-scape, offering up everything from aperitivo hours to supper clubs. Sip, dine, shop, GO!

| CHUCS | | | | For a taste of 1950s La Dolce Vita, Chucs has opened a second site, channelling the Italian Riviera in Westbourne Grove. Peruse the new menswear collection upstairs in the boutique (think: tailored swimwear, leisurewear, boat shoes… you know the look), before securing a table downstairs. Enjoy light, healthy dishes (such as matcha egg white protein pancakes and acai bowls) or feast on their Italian menu of carpacios, pastas and pizza and ‘secondi’ dishes – the antipasti alone is worth the trip. Waiters are white coated and the atmosphere is slick and bustling; this is a cosy new spot. Come summer, you’ll find us in the garden for aperitivo hour, Campari tonic in hand, or upstairs at the mini bar with a martini.

| DSM HAYMARKET | | | | For those who haven’t heard or missed the Instagram photos flying in last weekend, Dover Street Market has moved to the ex-Burberry heritage-listed building on Piccadilly. While away a few hours shopping the five floors of clothing, accessory and shoe brands, such as Azzedine Alaïa, Raf Simons and, of course, Comme des Garçons, before refueling on the third floor at Rose Bakery. Having made the transfer from the original store, you can expect the same simple menu of eggs, salads, risottos, sandwiches and quiches. Then, back to shopping. We say make a bee line for the new, bigger Gosha Rubchinskiy space and brush up on your post-Soviet, skater look, asap.

| KIT and ACE | | | | Slick lifestyle brand Kit and Ace moved into Redchurch Street with their technical cashmere wares and a gleaming marble café, and now, they’ve taken their community-centric ethos further with after-hours in-store supper clubs, in both the Redchurch Street boutique and pop up on Regent Street. Keep your ear to the ground for these invite-only intimate gatherings of 6-8 people, with three courses cooked by a local chef. Refreshingly, phones are put away and conversation is centred on ‘Real Talk’, a game that poses questions beyond the typical “How was work today?” Tip: go prepared knowing your spirit animal or what your grandmother would judge you for…
