Thanks to the launch of the inaugural Widow Series with Veuve Clicquot, a sell-out event curated by the renowned photographer Nick Knight, the annual ‘ghoul-a-thon’ was turned into a haute fashion affair.
The standard was well and truly set, and this year’s Veuve Clicquot Widow Series, titled ‘ROOMS’, promises the same, and more. Curated by FKA Twigs, the two day immersive exhibition, on October 27 & 28 will be set in a 12 room installation, created by 12 artists, each creating zodiac worlds. And that’s just the start.

| | MEET THE WIDOW AT THE BOOKING OFFICE | | | Friday, October 28 | |  | | | UJ loves the vaulted, gothic-like surrounds of The Booking Office at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, made only better this Halloween as it prepares to toast Madame Clicquot as she visits from beyond the grave. Expect live jazz from Cafe Manouche and a DJ till late. Victorian gothic dress or a cape with a mask is optional but most definitely preferred.

Fogg as he welcomes his dearly departed Madame Clicquot to Mr Fogg’s Residence this All Hallows’ Eve. The residence of Mr Fogg shall pay homage to all departed souls, but particularly to Madame Clicquot, whom Mr Fogg encountered on a pursuit through the Champagne region of France… so the story goes. And now, 150 years since she was sadly taken from us, from the grave Madame Clicquot returns to Mayfair at the behest of Mr Fogg himself in order to settle her affairs once and for all…

| | MEET THE WIDOW AT AQUA NUEVA | | | Saturday, October 29 | |  | | Walls shrouded in black lace, glittering beetles, skulls and creeping ivy… this is Aqua Nueva but not as you know it. Expect tarot readers, roving magicians and black swan dancers to set the scene as you prepare for a 3am finish, fuelled by DJs and, of course, Veuve Clicquot. Oh, and don’t miss the 12am candlelit Jeroboam toast to Madame Clicquot.
General party tickets are £45 and include entry, a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and canapés. Minimum spend tables are also available from £80 per person.
