| Friday | | | | | | DANCE: | | GO: | The Bug Presents | | Uniqlo Tate Lates | | This Friday Ninja Tune affiliate The Bug brings his signature blend of bass, ragga and dub to Dalston’s The Nest. He’s bringing dubstep producer Compa and dancehall queen Lady Chann with him, so you better prepare to have sore feet on Saturday morning.

This month the focus is on Robert Rauschenberg; discover more about the American master through immersive installations and workshops, with music programmed by NTS radio. | DON’T MISS | | Exmouth Market Grind - Soft Launch | | | | The Grind is expanding. Rapidly. (Not that we’re complaining). Make sure you get down to the newly opened Exmouth Grind this weekend for 50% off food and drink until Sunday 29th. It’s going to be busy so we’d advise booking; you can do it online or by phone on 020 7278 5333.

| Saturday | | | | | | TRY: | | DRINK: | Bala Baya | | Chalet Bordel | | Warm up January with some Israeli flavour from Eran Tibi, the ex-Ottolenghi head chef responsible for new opening Bala Baya. This place does it all; bakery by morning, home-baked pita kiosk by lunch, and Middle Eastern dining in the evening. All with a touch of Tel Aviv bauhaus.
| | We know it’s cold, so maybe it’s time to just embrace it? For January, the Experimental Cocktail Club’s Joyuex Bordel bar will be transformed into Chalet Bordel; think apres-ski in the middle of Shoreditch. There’s hot gin punch and green chaud to drink, plus raclette and crepes suzette to warm your cockles.

| Sunday | | | | | | EAT: | | DO: | Brunch with Bey | | The Barbican’s Architecture Tours | | Brunch is great. Brunch is even better when soundtracked by Beyoncé. Lucky for us, the Ace Hotel are hosting just that. 90s R&B aficionados Supa Dupa Fly will be on the decks whilst you enjoy pancakes, eggs benedict and chocolate brioche, washed down with prosecco. Plus, (if you can last) there’s a party and Beyoncé quiz until 8pm.
| | Some think it’s ugly, some think it’s incredible, but whatever you think – the Barbican is one of London’s most iconic architectural spots. Find out more about its history and the story of the surrounding estate on a 90-minute walking tour – and don’t forget to stop off for brunch inside after. Make sure you book in advance!
