| Friday | | | | | | DANCE: | | HEAR: | The Black Madonna at XOYO | | A Tribute To Prince with Alexis Taylor | | Now in the full swing of her 13-week-long XOYO residency, Mixmag DJ of the year (and UJ fave) The Black Madonna is joined by Midland and Artwork this Friday. We thought it’d be hard to beat last week’s Derrick Carter does disco set, but we’re equally as excited for this.
| | This bank holiday marks a year since Prince’s death, so Stevie Wonderland are dedicating a whole night at Peckham’s Bussey Building to The Purple One. Self-confessed superfan Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) will be spinning 2 hours of rarities, grooves and funk from the man himself.

| TRY: | | The Restory | | | | The Restory might just be our new favourite thing. If you’ve got a pair of shoes or a bag that needs to be brought back to life, but you’re skeptical about trusting just anyone to do it – these are your guys. They’ll pick up your stuff, have it fixed by a specialist, and deliver it right back to you.

| Saturday | | | | | | WATCH: | | SEE: | Soho A Gogo | | Imagine Moscow at the Design Museum | | It’s no secret that #UJLoves Soho – it’s where our HQ is based, and it’s a place where you’re always around the corner from something exciting. Regent Street Cinema’s Soho A Gogo film festival celebrates the area’s history: through its jazz clubs (All Night Long), strip clubs (Expresso Bongo), beatniks (Beat Girl) and 50s cool (Absolute Beginners).
| | If you’re looking for an excuse to visit the Design Museum at its new West London home, get your bank holiday culture fix at the new Imagine Moscow exhibition. A century after the Russian Revolution, the exhibition explores a vision of utopia that never quite made it; an alternative reality for what the city could have been.

| INTERNATIONAL: | | Chambao, Ibiza | | | | Talamanca has long been UJ’s favourite place to head for laid-back vibes just outside of Ibiza Town. And now the neighbourhood is about to get an upscale overhaul, with the arrival of the Nobu Hotel this June. With it comes Chambao restaurant – a collab between the hotel and Ibiza hotspot El Chiringuito. Think relaxed beach vibes, views of the Med, cocktails and fresh seafood.

| Sunday | | | | | | DRINK: | | PARTY: | Margarita Rumble | | The Queen’s Yard Summer Party | | Drinking margs – is there a better way to make the most of having Sunday off? This isn’t just a jolly though – it’s a sport. Sample the best margaritas in town as the city’s finest bartenders battle it out, including competitors from El Patron, Bar Alchemist, Cafe Pacifico and Cabana. Don’t worry, James Cochran (B.Y.O.C, EC3) is on hand with buttermilk chicken and crispy cauliflower if you get hungry.

Performed by an ensemble of musicians closely associated to Glass’ work, this is the first time the composer has given his blessing for the movements to be performed by a new generation of musicians, and it’ll be the perfect treat for a Monday off.
