Oh weekend, how we love you. We’ve got you covered on all fronts this week, with dinner at Mayfair’s latest opening, a rare appearance from deep house icon Solomun and a Sunday soaking up some culture at the Barbican or the V&A. Plus, we’re already getting hyped for Lovebox, and eschewing summer salads for carbs, carbs and more carbs.

| DINE | | Henrietta Hotel | | | | From the collective behind the Experimental Cocktail Club and Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels comes the Henrietta Hotel. With just 18 rooms, tucked away on, you got it, Henrietta Street, this Cov Garden newbie is a great central hideaway. And with Ollie Dabbous in the kitchen the flavours are as good as the drinks, too. We say for dinner, order heavy on the grazing items (flatbreads with avocado, angelica seeds and mint, and radishes with tarmac), starters (the sheep milk curds with spring onion, pistachio, lime and marigold shoots is a must) and desserts (ALL are tasty, but especially the warm, freshly baked madeleines with Chantilly cream) and then book a room and get cosy. Open for breakfast, dinner, and now lunch, make a day of it and work your way through the menus.
